Allgemeine Fragen

How Long does Stockholmillustrations exist?

A:It´s our 10th anniversery this year. Whoopie!

How and who did come up with the idea?

A:In the beginning we were four, Lasse, Anders, Annika and Thomas. We spoke with some other illustrators, which work we loved, and soon the group grew. The idea was to gather proffesional illustrators in a group; and that the sum would be larger than each individual. A kind of All Star Team, we thought.

Do you influence each other?

A: Yes, certainly. It´s like a big garden, we all grow in the same soil.

Are there any good or funny storys connected with Stockholmillustration?

A: No. (I know one good one, but I´m not gonna tell you. Sorry!)

How does it work?

A:Some people think that we are an agency. We´re not. It´s more like a library, a place loaded with ideas and images. You go to this nice silent place and work side by side with other devoted people. Sometimes we co-operate, but most often we have our own projects. And once in a while we do some art-thing together.
